On Memorial Day, I went to Animazement 2007 with my high school friends. After much talking with our friend who didn't normally go, we convinced her to go too! Animazement is an anime convention held in Durham, NC! I don't care much for anime but it's so much fun when you have friends that go repeatedly! I attended the whole weekend but didn't get participate in much since I was so sore after working Friday.
Anyway, Friday we ran registered for the con, got settled in our home spot and then ran around the convention, watching our friends take pictures of people. I was excited because I discovered that they provided a snack room at the con too! I was so excited I took pictures of the Trix! It's my favorite cereal. I felt swimmy in my head the whole day since I got three hours of sleep. Oh! And I helped my friend Charles make his costume bloody! That was the most fun I ever had! :D The day ended when I had to go to work.

Saturday we ran around the convention, I bought a bobble head gloomy bear and then we left the con, hung out at the hotel the remainder of the day and went to the cheesecake factory at the Southpoint Mall in Durham! My friend Debbie had a "slutty cheesecake" and I had a classic slut fruit! Personally I don't like the Cheesecake Factory. It's expensive and the food and service suck ass. And not to mention the interior decorating skill was trusted to a 60 year old woman that couldn't decide what exactly she wanted. So you get a Greek-Egyptian esque 4th grade interpetation of victorian meets beach house decor! And they took the same random approach with their menu options. I always get the Garlic Noodles. Cheap (for cheesecake factory) and Garlicy! Maybe I shouldn't be so hard on them...but they have high prices, for that I show no mercy!

But yeah I don't eat cheesecake so I have no emotional attachment to this resturant. Enjoy the silly pictures! This convention is really just a friend's hangout for me! I also made new convention friends! The people of Genki Hats are always good people and we made talking pals since we remembered each other from last year. I naturally gravatated towards this booth because they were the only tattooed and pierced crew that had the same fashion sense! So It's always a pleasure talking to them! But it's offical when you like, become myspace friends! *sarcasm*
