- Is there something in your closet you haven't worn yet?
- What color do you have most of in your closet?
- Is there something hidden in your closet?
- Show us something you wear all the time
1. Jeans. I love dark wash denim jeans.
2. Yes, a shirt that I got off ebay. It's a loose fitting thing that is too loose to wear to work (too many loose pieces). I would be too scared it would snag on something and rip.
3. Probably black and greens and a few pinks.
4. Erm....not that I know of?
5.
- What types of physical activity do you get on a daily basis?
- Do you take any kind of vitamin supplement?
- What is your favorite healthy snack?
- What is the one food you feel guilty eating?
- Show us something taken care of.
1. I do Pilates two to three times a week. I aim for 3, but I get lazy. Then my job is very physically demanding, you have to run around, lift heavy boxes, bend down in the coolers, etc.
2. On and off. It's hard for me to remember to take a pill that I have to have food in my stomach. So I forget.
3. I like apples, bananas, granola bars, wheaty anything!
4. Greasy potateo chips. Lays, Ruffles. They make me feel sick after a while of eating them. But I still do it. I like how salty they taste on your tongue. haha But any other food, I have no remorse. bawhahahah
5. Zoo animal?
- When grilling, what type of grill do you prefer? Gas, charcoal, etc...
- Are you planing any vacations this summer?
- Do you tan or burn?
- What's your favorite summer pastime?
- Show us a beach.
1. I don't like to grill. haha
2. Tom wants to go on vacation but we're not sure if it will be in the summer. :P We like to vacation off season anyway.
3. The asian in me tans. It takes a long time before I burn. I have to be in the sun for more than 3 hours to burn.
4. Sitting outside in the sun. On a porch, I like the warmth! But sometimes when I miss the beach I will want to sit on the beach. I don't like going in the water! Sand everywhere! haha
5. Topsail Island.
- How long have you been blogging?
- Do you remember what first got you into blogging?
- Have you ever met anyone in person from blogging, internet dating...etc?
- Do you blog everyday, or just once in a while?
- Show us something blog worthy
1. Erm I never actually did anything and referred to it as blogging until last year. I had a livejournal since 2000/2001ish. But I ended up making it friends only in 2003 and left it that way ever since.
2. My friend Sarah Dope got me into online journaling so we could keep up with each others lives.
It's much easier to type than it is for me write down things since it makes my hands hurt faster. I never kept a paper journal because ...well it was just a bad thing to do at my parents house. I ended up throwing my diary away from when I was in 5th grade all through middle school. I kind of regret that but it would have been worse if I did keep it.
3. I've met a few people from online. My latest one was Sarah Dope, a online friend I've had over the years. We met online through her website she had in '99. And I lost touch with her for a year only to be reunited later when she started going under the name Sarah Dope. A semi-psuedonym. Travis a sideshow freak who eats fire, sword-swallow among other things--who was a livejournal friend from 2003. I met him at the Renn-Faire here that he kept telling me to go to! He really enjoyed that the faire allowed people to bring their pets and walk them around. And I met Dav (who is married to Mie I always check out her blog for updates. She tells cool stories about her life. I appreciate her honesty in blogging.) when he came to Raleigh for a few days. He visited me at work (I work at a live music venue). That was really cool and a pleasure! haha
So far I've only met really cool people from online in real life. Hopefully, this trend will only continue and I will keep having nice experiences!
4. My blogging goes in cycles. When I get overwhelmed with work or I just have a ton of real life projects going on I don't even stop to think I should blog this! But I try to blog all the time but it's more once in a while.
5. Sarah Dope and I my oldest online friend. It's crazy we've kept in touch since we were in high school. God, I'm pale (euroasian, anybody?).
- What kinds of things could you spend a Sunday afternoon doing?
- What kinds of toppings do you like on your sundae?
- Name something yellow in your sight at this moment.
- What's your favorite television channel?
- Show us something fuzzy.
1. I like laying in bed longer, or getting up and watching TV and taking a nap in the middle, spooning with a certain lover. But I haven't really seen him in one night. :( I've been in Durham @ Animazement. Update coming when I get more pictures after the weekend. Or something.
2. I like strawberry topping since I don't eat chocolate. And those little nuts. haha But I'm a weirdo. And bananas....mmm. banana split.
3. Polka dotted red and yellow gift paper that go in gift bags to make a gift bag appear as though you put tremedious effort into a package. Or atleast this is how I view this in my warped, lazy mind.
4. Cartoon Network, TLC, and Showtime on Demand. They have way better tv shows than HBO.
5. Yay for convention beanies!
1. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
2. What are some goals you set for yourself?
3. Do you learn better by hands on, or from books?
4. What do you wish you could do better at?
5. Show us something done.
1. You know I really don't have a vision of myself in 5 years. I tend to live in the now and that will horrify some of you. But if I had to guess, I see myself with Tom. I would like to see myself settled down if that is my guess-o-vision! I would like to see myself doing something that I just love to do for the rest of my life. What that something is I have no idea but I would hope I will figure it out by then!
2. Umm...like I said above, I live in the now. I don't really like setting goals. My goals are very short term to the point it's not even worth listing. I can't believe I'm filling this Friday 5 out! LOL
3. I learn better by example, visually taught rather than reading it from a book. The only thing that I could "learn from books" are soley things that spark my interest. Anything else I need someone to show me! LOL Like Math. Yeah.
4. I wish I would put more time into Photography. I miss it a lot. I wish Tom and I would go shoot photos together like back in the day. :D But we rarely have the time for it. And maybe move back into Photoshop because I haven't done anything in it for a while!
5. What?
- How many times have you moved in your lifetime?
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you go?
- Do you own or rent your home?
- What is the furthest distance you have moved?
- Show us something around your house.
(I wanted to get a head start since I really enjoy the Friday 5! and it's been posted. so yes.)
1. Jeez. I've moved around so much I can't tell you how many schools I've been to(and certain places I can't tell you how many times I moved in one city). I was born in Kentucky, moved to Baltimore, Maryland, lived in West Virginia for a few months, went to Sigonella Sicily, Pensacola, FL, Jacksonville, NC and now Raleigh, NC. But I've moved around a lot within cities so it's really hard to count. I've been to a million elementary schools, one middle school and three high schools. I can't tell how many elementry schools because of how young I was. I don't remember teachers names or anything. haha OH! Let me say my family was in the military. I am a military kid/brat. I've had more friends than your average bear.
2. I would want to live in California! LOL I don't know where. San Fransico or L.A., but I am naming common cities because I've never been to CA! I'm happy in the US but I don't know, I like living in foreign countries but it's just different. I thought about Tyoko but I don't think I could handle it. haha
3. Rent, but with hopes of owning one day. But I have my own ideas of what I would want to own. I would like something small like a townhouse. But I'm 23 and not thinking about children and all that.
4. Sigonella, Sicily. I moved around the least from apartment to housing. We had lived in the city in an apartment that was two bedrooms, I think. The details are fuzzy since I was young. We lived on a top floor with a balcony that wrapped around the entire apartment. It was the nicest place I've ever lived that was an apartment. I remember everybody made a big deal about the partical marble that was on the floor. We didn't have a phone there mainly because we were Americans that barely spoke the language (that's my guess). Our landlady lived on the very top floor and had a wine cellar downstairs. What I remember about Sicily is that when you stood on the balcony you could see every building and house and then you went to another and you were looking at valleys and Mt. Etna. Pretty much if you were anywhere on the island you can see Mt. Etna(or it seem that way). I was there when it erupted (apparently in 1992) and we went to see the volcano erupt. It wasn't scary for me since I was pretty young (8-ish). Anyway, we ended up moving to a military housing off base (like right outside the base) when my stepmom became pregnant with my brother. I liked living there because it was the least amount I watched TV and it was a nice place. I was the most independent there. I ran around all the time on base. I felt mostly free there. When we came back to the US it just felt like my parents were more restrictive about where I went.
5. I love collecting magnets and cute stuff for the refridgerator. Tom doesn't stop me at all with that! LOL Though the fish isn't mine, that's Tom's but I like it's kitschy feeling. You don't get that with most sea life magnets! hahaa
1.When you need to be somewhere, do you tend to be late, early, or right on time?
2.Have you ever been pulled over, or gotten trouble because you were in a hurry?
3.What was one of the reasons you left a previous job?
4.How long does it take for you to get ready to go?
5.Show us something you can't leave home without.
1. Well I used to be the type that was there 15 minutes before having to be there. But now a days, I'm right on time usually.
2. No. But I don't drive.
3. Because I moved up to Raleigh to be with my boyfriend.
4. 20 to 30 minutes. It takes me forever to roll out of bed and eat! God yes, I have to sit and think and stare blankly for a while before I go about my day. Then go into the bathroom put on my moisterizer, put on some good clothes for the night, then go into the living room (so Tom can use the shower while I get made up) and go through my makeup routine. My bare minerals foundation, I put on the mineral veil first and my fairly light color. My liquid eyeliner across the top lids, my eyeshadow, sometimes just glitter. Then I layer on mascara. I want to try to get a false eyelash look. Maybe one day I'll attempt fake eyelashes again. I don't wear any other makeup. I don't like lipstick, I rarely wear it. Just foundation and eye makeup. I spend the longest time on my eyes.
5. My tokidoki Ciao Ciao bag! It holds everything I will ever need!
- What color(s) are your favorite?
- What color are your eyes?
- Which color(s) describe your mood at this moment?
- What color do you wear the most?
- Show us something colorful.
1. I love the colors: pink, blue: robin's egg like blue, black, and red.
2.
They are brown. They look dark brown when I don't have the flash on. It used to be mistaken for black. But as I've gotten older they have some color that would not be mistaken for black at all now! haha!!
3. A maroon color. I'm tired. haha I feel like maroon is a good color to convey that mood. Did some work tonight.
4. Black, Browns, Greys, and Blues. I don't wear a lot of pink since it doesn't go with the red at all.
5.
Just a girl I thought was pretty neat looking but this what I think of when I think colorful. She's a colorful mess.
- What's your average sleep time?
- Are you an early bird or a late sleeper?
- Do you find it hard to fall asleep, or do you go right out?
- Have you ever slept somewhere other than a bed?
- Show us sleep.
1. I normally go to bed around 6 AM (and wake up around 4 PM if I sleep in late. haha) but lately been going to bed around 8 AM and getting up at 6 PM.
2. Late sleeper. But I'm pretty flexible. I can be a early bird if I need to be. It's strange, I can do either. I've always been like that. I lead a double sleeping life.
3. I'm out. I can sleep through anything. Really I can.
4. I've slept on beds, floors, futons, benches, pool tables, and bar stools. I can sleep anywhere.
5. This was me before falling asleep. It reminds me of Lauren a bit. haha
