Mine was good. I spent my Thanksgiving lunch/dinner with Tom's family as usual and had a great time! We had many oysters, green beans, collards, turkey, and desserts. At the end of the night I went to spent the night with my best friend who I haven't seen in a few months but stopping by my friend Charles house to say hi to his mom who I hadn't seen in 2 1/2 years. It was really nice and it was just awesome for me this year. I'm so tired right now so I'm going to cut this short and leave you with the pictures.
Tom and I shot last week when we went to Sneads Ferry. We made a stop at Topsail Island and took some photos. We don't shoot that often but when we do, I really enjoy all the photos I get back. And I get to do all the photoshop work for my photos! Booyah! It was fun and challenging shooting these photos. Your knees grate into the sand, you're getting knocked over by waves and the cool air of the evening is blowing giving you goosebumps but you have to look like you're being effortless and having fun. And I'm a rocker and roller girl so it's just hilarious to be a beach bunny.
Anyway, I was just thinking about how I really love my job. I just like coming to work and knowing a good chunk of the people that come to shows and knowing the bands and just reconnecting with people that I hadn't seen in a few years. It's a fun job and I'm glad to get to be apart of this life with my boyfriend. It's the life I craved. I was telling someone last night that when I moved to Raleigh, it was the first time I would see pierced and tattooed girls running around. It was just so cool to me. Got to go!
He loves to eat frosting, tear open presents, and only take adorable pictures when ladies are in the frame with him! This is Tom's youngest nephew and he is a wild child. Always on the move and ready to go. By the time we got to the cake he wanted to go home to play with his presents and go to bed. He was kind of cranky by the end of the party.
We had oyster roast with the family. This is how you steam em and eat em! We all just sat stood around the table, breaking open oysters and I don't talk when I'm doing this because it's hard to get in those suckers!
You know since I've seen these pictures, I wonder if it's weird I like to wear skeleton print. haha (It's my hoodie, I love this thing).
These few pics make me think of this place. I wanted to give you a preview of what it's like here. Dav, the second pic is the building that is across from the stoplight(the first one of two in the town) that had the store you two spoke of. Tom's dad built quite a few of the buildings here. Anyway I am gonna go spend some time with the familia.
It's Tom parents cat Dobber. He likes being pet under the chin. I take allgery meds to be around him and its worth it. He's a wonderfully crazy cat (like for real crazy). I love him though. For some reason he's being nice to me to lately and listening to what I say. It's really strange, I suspect it's because he knows he won't get no love on thanksgiving. haha Because of all the cute kids that will be stopping by. haha He normally answers to nobody.
